A fun way for little ones to practice phonics and letter recognition skills!
There are many ways to use these Easter Eggs in a preschool, kindergarten or ESL classroom. Play simple games with them, set up egg hunts, add them to a sensory bin, use them as clip cards, play dough mats, or just make a lovely Easter or Spring wall display!
The cards are colour coded to help young children match them up and include different difficulty levels, so you can choose according to the age and developmental level of your kids.
There are four sets of cards that you can combine them however you wish! I've also included both US and UK English versions.
- Identify beginning letter sounds of different words
- Relate letter sounds to written letters
- Learn the letters of the alphabet
- Identify upper-case and lower-case letters
- Teach and reinforce written and spoken vocabulary
The egg borders and letters are colour coded to help little ones make the matches.
You can choose to play with the picture-word cards (easier), or the picture-only cards (harder).
I've also included some printable baskets that you can use as sorting mats. The labels are editable so you can type the text you wish. You can even use them as play dough mats for counting activities - type in numbers for different baskets and have kids make that number of play dough Easter eggs for each one!
You can combine these cards with our Easter Egg Colours, Numbers & Sizes Matching Cards to make a lovely set covering all the basics for little ones!
This set is great for practicing colours vocabulary, counting from 0 to 12 and size recognition with your kids! Includes colours cards, counting cards and number cards in different difficulty levels. Plus I've included lots of ideas for fun games and activities to play!
